#FHAware2020 CAMPAIGN

FH made easy

As part of an extended FH Awareness Day campaign, FH Europe joins forces together with MEDizzy, the world’s fastest growing medical learning community. Thanks to innovative learning tools, employed on a digital platform, MEDizzy brings together a highly engaged community of over 10milion young doctors, nurses, paramedics and medical students from over 120 countries.

FH made easy” is an educational project, with the main objective to raise awareness and to educate the young generation of healthcare professionals about Familial Hypercholesterolemia, proper diagnosis, treatment and risk factors. The campaign will kick off with a quiz questions series running for two weeks prior to FH Awareness Day 2020, on September 24. The objective is to engage with a general audience and to assess their level of basic knowledge about the condition. At the same time, they will be provided with short explanations behind the right answers to help better retain the most important facts about FH. As the campaign evolves and becomes a permanent feature on the MEDizzy platform, the aim is to reach individuals interested in prevention, cardiology, paediatrics, endocrinology and gynaecology. The quiz questions and answers have been developed by the FH Europe patient community in collaboration with medical experts and the European Atherosclerosis Society.

To increase the impact and to encourage HCPs to be part of the initiative, the campaign will be promoted across MEDizzy multiple online channels, including a mobile app , an online medical journal with links to key literature on the FH topic, and social media channels like Instagram , Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. An estimated reach of the FH Awareness Day campaign is 100,000 – 200,000 pax.
