Global Call to Action on familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), is a global perspective of scientific experts, advocacy leaders, public health officials, and individuals with FH from 40 countries

It was published in JAMA Cardiology on January 2nd , 2020. Inspired by the 11 WHO recommendations on FH from 1998, the publication calls on healthcare systems around the world incl. public health officials and governments to implement solutions to effectively care for individuals and their families with this inherited cardiovascular disease.

Based on the original document a shorter, summary version has been prepared. It is currently being translated and will be soon made available in 21 languages, to support national advocacy efforts in policy changes around FH. To access the short version of the original Global Call to Action on FH in 17 European languages click here.

On the occasion of the FH Awareness Day, the 9 actionable recommendations listed in the Global call to action, have been converted into interactive cards, ready to download and use now.
