Scientific Committee

Following a successful high-level Technical meeting on FH Paediatric Screening on October 11th 2021, the FH Europe Scientific and Public Health Advisory Committee has been divided into two groups, closely collaborating together. The Scientific Advisory Committee continues to provide support to all patient organizations within the Network to have access to scientific expertise and data, to improve medical education related to genetic dyslipidaemia care, and to make sure all those patient support and advocacy organizations within the Network are up to date on the latest research and guidelines. It is hoped that this group will improve consistency of messaging among the advocacy community and the medical/scientific community. The group is chaired by Prof. Samuel Gidding and consists of 12 international expert advisors.

As some of the scientific group members support with their expertise the newly formed FH Europe Policy Advisory Committee, a call for new nominations is now being open. For more information and submissions please contact Magdalena Daccord md@fheurope.org and Sam Gidding samuel.gidding@gmail.com
