Taking the pulse: A Cardiovascular Health Plan for Europe

Nov 9, 2022

On November 17 we will attend a milestone event “Taking the pulse: A Cardiovascular Health Plan for Europe”, in the European Parliament hosted by MEP Tomislav Sokol, and you are more than welcome to join us.

This upcoming event is an opportunity to discuss how the EU can act to improve cardiovascular health for all, the 60 million people in Europe suffering from a cardiovascular disease today, and the millions of people that are living with a cardiovascular disease without being diagnosed.

Attendees will hear from a rich panel of speakers including cardiovascular patients, MEPs, national policymakers, and experts in cardiovascular health policy.

The event will be moderated by Nicola Bedlington, FH Europe’s Sr Policy Advisor. We have also secured a speaker spot on the agenda for one of our Ambassadors. In the context of the FH Paediatric Screening, the decision has been made to present an inspiring and a positive story from the youngest of FH Europe’s Ambassadors and an FH patient, Indy Bangma from the Netherlands.
